Amplitude equalization of high-repetition-rate pulses in a rational harmonic mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser with a Fabry-Perot semiconductor modulator

The generation of uniform pulse trains at tens of GHz from a rational harmonic modelocked fiber laser with a Fabry-Perot semiconductor modulator was experimentally demonstrated by employing pulse amplitude equalization based on nonlinear polarization rotation.
