Optical pulse train synthesis of arbitrary waveform using weight/phase-programmable 32-tapped delay line waveguide filter

摘要

Generation of optical pulse train of arbitrary waveform based upon Fourier spectrum synthesis is experimentally demonstrated by using a weight/phase-programmable 32-tapped delay line waveguide filter along with a frequency-tunable fiber-optic comb generator.
