摘要

This paper, first gives a mathematical model of constant-upstream level gate. Taking the gate movement as dynamic boundary condition of the canal flow, the mathematical model of the dynamic response of the hydraulic automatically operated canal with constant-upstream level gates is established. Applying Laplase transform, Z-transform and inverse Z-transform to the model of dynamic response of the gate, a difference equation, that describes the gate movement affected by water level in canal, is evolved. Regarding the difference equation and one-dimensional calculating model of unsteady flow in open canal as boundary conditions for each other and using decoupled method, the equations can be solved so that the dynamic response of the gate and the canal can be predicted to improve their designs and management.
