Thermodynamic description of Langmuir monolayers via a pure lattice model

摘要

A pure lattice model considering only nearest neighbor interactions reproduces one first-order phase transition in Langmuir monolayers. To obtain two or more phase transitions it becomes necessary to hybridize the model by introducing other hypothesis and long-range interactions.
