Spatial quantum correlations present in the light produced by spontaneous emission in type-I second harmonic generation in the traveling wave configuration is theoretically investigated. Intensity fluctuations of the fundamental field at two far field points symmetrical with respect to the optical axis of the system is studied, and shown to be well correlated at a quantum level.
