10 simultaneously mode-locked and synchronized channels at 30 GHz from fiber ring laser

摘要

A laser source generating 10 synchronized wavelengths, mode-locked at 30 GHz and providing nearly 7 ps transform limited pulses across its output is presented. Mode-locking is achieved using an external 5 GHz optical pulse train.
