Polarization insensitive waveguide DEMUXes with integrated slab polarization compensator

摘要

A very simple technique for controlling the inherent birefringence of any planar waveguide demultiplexer, which involves no additional processing and which is effective in any material system, is proposed, modeled, and verified by experiment.
