Safeguard and renovation of air conditioning installations for communication centers

The rooms in which communication centers are set up must be kept in clean air, temperature and hygrometry conditions compatible with building recommendations. Here, the author discusses the following requirements for communication center air conditioning installations: nonstop working of the machines; a temporary solution in case of a failure or renovation works; two backup products, heavy and light; restraint for the building; electric power and air ducts setting; area access; hot air extraction; operation; and maintenance.
