摘要

A rapid segmentation technique is described that is based on co-registered PET and MR images. Following a masking of MR images by PET images the integral shading method is explored to render the surface of the human cortex. This permits the localisation of functional activations and deactivations in normal subjects and patients based on their individual anatomy.
