Template for software quality management for Department of Defense programs

In order to perform software quality assessments and evaluations in a timely fashion, concurrent with software development planning, and to formalize defect prevention and corrective actions processes, the templates that should be considered when planning a software quality program plan (such as document reviews, walk throughs, code reviews, test monitoring. test results reviews, and audits) are addressed. A need for higher software quality, reliability and performance can be satisfied by the use of templates. The areas considered are DOD-STD-2167A and its associated data item descriptions, general quality assessment requirements, detailed requirements for major software quality activities, and supporting templates.
