Single-mode ribbon connector exhibiting 0.2 dB loss without index matching during 300 cycles of repeated connection test

Ribbon connectors employing 11-fibre ferrules were prepared using a novel CC-CC (cylindrical coordinate adjusted-cylindrically convex surface) approach. Manufacture of the connector can be established using techniques and tools already matured in existing single-mode connector factories.
