Integrated systems: a physician's perspective

Abstract: Development of fiber optic laser interactive systems that not only deliver the specific frequency wavelength, but have sensing and detection qualities, would complement and expand diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. This capability could allow for measurement of irradiation parameters and consequences quantitatively. The challenge is to find the fertile ground of new concepts to be developed by dedicated pursuit and insistence.!0
