Solution of implicitly formulated inverse heat transfer problems with hybrid methods

In the present work combinations of a gradient based method (Levenberg-Marquardt) with stochastic global optimization methods (SA: Simulated Annealing and GA: Genetic Algorithms) are considered for the solution of inverse problems of parameter estimation in heat transfer.
