Some notes on experience with modernizatin of GMA's training system in vieew of marine environmental protection

Sea transpoort of bulk hazrdous argoes threatens the amrine environemtn through accidents.In recent years the trend of performance of tankers of accident rate has bene down.The principal contributor to the safety record ahs been the level of personnel training.In 1992-95,on hte basis of the Tempus project Gdynia Maritime Academy Implemented a new training scheme for tanker staff and modernized training facilities.Project activities and outputs are given.
