摘要

Quality is the vital ingredient of an organization's success formula whether it is service industry or consumer goods industry. Many quality systems and tools evolved over time and few left an impact and few disappeared without much impact. One of the many goals of these Quality systems & Tools is maximum customer satisfaction by involving the top level management to support the grass root level workforce in implementing the tools and systems. A sound quality system reflects sound organizational culture and the desire of the management to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. This paper discusses the various quality systems and tools as viewed from an organizational perspective rather than the traditional engineering perspective. Thus Study of interest is seven new & old tools of quality, statistical process control, Design of experiments, TQM, Six Sigma and rest.
