(M,M')TiO_3∶Pr~(3+) (M, M'∶Ca~(2+), Zn~(2+), Sr~(2+)) phosphors were prepared by a solid-state reaction method, and the luminescent properties were investigated. The PLE and PL spectra of Ca_(1-x)Sr_xTiO_3∶Pr~(3+) powders exhibited the strong dependence on the Sr content, resulting in the maximum emission intensity at x = 0.1. The PLE spectra of (Ca_(0.5)Sr_(0.5-y)Zn_y)TiO_3∶Pr~(3+) showed wide excitation bands with increasing Zn content. The red emission intensity of (Ca_(0.5)Sr_(0.35)Zn_(0.15))TiO_3∶Pr~(3+) was higher than that of the pure CaTiO_3∶Pr~(3+).
