摘要

The dam of the Yixing pumped storage power station upper reservoir is CFRD, which is located on the steep slope inclining downstream, and a gravity retaining wall is sited at the dam heel to support the embankment of rockfill. The retaining wall is of "L" shape, with the cantilever of 25m in height. The wall has been under observation for 2 years since the completion, and the analysis of the observation date indicates: the main reason of the period variation of the earth pressure loaded on the retaining wall is the wall displacement caused by period temperature change on the downstream face and upstream face of the retaining wall, when the top of the wall moves upstream, the earth pressure increases; when the top of the wall moves downstream, the earth pressure decreases.
