This letter uses a combination of ADInSAR with a coherence optimization method. Polarimetric DInSAR is able to enhance pixel phase quality and thus coherent pixel density. The coherence optimization method is a search-based approach to find the optimized scatteringrnmechanism introduced by Navarro-Sanchez [1]. The case study is southwest of Tehran basin located in thernNorth of Iran. It suffers from a high-rate of land subsidence and is covered by agricultural fields. Usually such an area would significantly decorrelate but applying polarimetric ADInSAR it is possible to obtain a morerncoherent pixel coverage. A set of dual-pol TerraSAR-Xrnimages was ordered for polarimetric ADInSAR procedure. The coherence optimization method is shownrnto have increased the density and phase quality of coherent pixels significantly.
