DISCUSSION ABOUT CALIBRATION OF AIRBORNE PARTICLE COUNTER

There are different airborne particle counters made in US, Japan, Germany and China to be usedrnwidely in China, but the current Chinese national standard of airborne particle counter calibration,rnGB6167-85, differs from other calibration standards in the world. The differences between Chinesernairborne particle counter calibration procedure and other calibration procedures are discussed. Thisrnpaper points out the defects of current Chinese national standard and provide initial suggestions onrnrevised China National Standard: GB6167. “Methods for Testing the Performance of Airborne ParticlernCounter”
