Automated Information System for the Prevention of Crime and Terrorism on Local and Trans-border Level

Specialists from the Technical University of Sofia design an expert system, which would provide warning of possible criminal activity by criminal groups (gangs). Additionally the system will track the behavior of the gangs, like the addition of new members or contacting other gangs. Every activity of the criminal group will be automatically processed by the system and will be sent for further analysis to the competent analysts within the Ministry of Interior (Mol). The system will process, with the help of an AI, the automatically collected information based on various modern technologies - GSM networks, Internet, traffic-cams; ATMs, email, computer browser history, software updates and other.
