Characterization of the thermal field associated with laser microdrilling of zona pellucida

Abstract: Since it is difficult to measure the temperature in the small focused area of the laser-irradiated zona pellucida, we have developed a model to characterize the temperature field associated with this process which uses optical properties of water and measured beam profiles.
