The purpose of this study is to perform the IL(IL) test and to set up acoustic performance prediction technique of lattice type noise reducing device installed on the top of noise barrier. First of all, the IL test of noise reducing device was performed in anechoic room for the IL performance evaluation. And, the IL performance prediction of noise reducing device for the verification of acoustic prediction technique was performed with the 2D BEM method. As the results, the measured IL value of lattice type noise reducing devices without absorption material was less than 2dB(A), and IL applying the polyester absorption material was increased about 0.5dB(A) than that of without absorption material. And, the acoustic performance prediction technique was verified because the averaged IL difference between prediction and test was in ±ldB(A). But, the acoustic prediction technique of noise reducing device with absorption material needs more research.
