IMPROVEMENT OF SOUND QUALITY OF SMALL FAN FOR INFORMATION DEVICES

摘要

Many small cooling fans are used for information technology devices such as personal computers, video projectors and so on. Though the sound pressure level is so small, it is still annoying sound in silent environment. In this study, in order to obtain the guideline for noise reduction of small fan, the relationships between the operating condition such as flow rate or design parameters such as number of impeller and the noise level were investigated, the main factor of the annoying component was extracted by comparing with subjective test results.
