New Species and Records of Erysiphales from Gansu, China

摘要

The powdery mildews (Erysiphales) are very important parasitic fungi which cause powdery mildews on different economic plants. From 1999 to 2003,the flora and distribution of the powdery mildews of Gansu province have been studied,More than 500 specimens of powdery mildew have been collected in different places of Gansu Province and are identified as 87 species and varieties of powdery mildew under laboratory critically after the system of Zhen Ruyong, which belong to 13 genera, it parasitize on 133 species of host plants which belong to 47 families. In this paper one proposed as new taxon, namely Sphaerotheca anomonae S.R. Wang & K. Zhu sp nov. ; two species recorded newly to China, they are Sphaerotheca verbenae Savul. & Negru, Microsphaera helwingiae Sawada.
