BY USING THE DATABASE REPLICATION TECHNIQUE TO SET UP THE DISTRIBUTED DATA WAREHOUSE SYSTEM

At present, although many enterprises have established the perfect transaction processing information system, new requirements have continually been brought forward to build distributed data warehouse system because of the necessity of enterprises development and the restrict of their geographical position. What's more, these enterprises also want to retain as far as possible the original database system construction with the existing network construction. To resolve this core problem, this paper puts forward a model of using database replication technique to build a distributed data warehouse system. It can make the integration come true between the existing system and the new, and even with good performance and expansibility.
