ENERGY UTILIZATION SYSTEM FROM WOODY BIOMASS USING A SMALL GASIFIER AND GAS-ENGINE IN A RURAL AREA OF THE TROPICAL ASIA

摘要

In order to utilize woody biomass effectively in the tropical Asia, we propose some utilization plans in rural areas using a small scale gasifier - gas engine power generation plant. In this study, we first introduce the small scale power generation plant installed in Japan. Then we show the two plans of the utilization in rural areas.
