The characterization of framework Al atoms in zeolites have been performed by~(27)Al MAS and MQMAS NMR. It is taken benefit of the simultaneous analysis of thehigh-resolution 2D-MQMAS and the conventional MAS NMR spectra. A simulationprogram, called “MASAI”, has been developed to allow iterative fitting of both theMAS and 2D-MQMAS spectra, taking into account distribution of interactionparameters. The application of this method allows the exact determination of theaverage isotropic chemical shift and quadrupolar-coupling constants.
