AlPO_4-SOD, a microporous aluminophosphate, was synthesized in a quasi-non-aqueous systemusing the dimethylformamide (DMF) as template and solvent. The crystalline structure of thisclathrate-like material was investigated by high resolution powder X-ray diffraction and various solidstate nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques. In particular, ~(31)P homonuclear correlation and~(27)Al/~(31)P 3QHETCOR NMR experiments allowed the complete assignment of ~(31)P and ~(27)Alresonances to the corresponding crystallographic sites. All results from the different NMR techniquesare compared with the refined structure resulting from a Rietveld analysis on powder synchrotrondata.
