DIFFRACTION COEFFICIENTS FOR TILTED SURFACE-BREAKING CRACKS

We have produced a fuller theoretical justification of Budaev and Bogy's recipe for deriving singular integral equations, which describe the elastic wedge diffraction, and obtained a clearer understanding of the properties of the underlying operators. We have produced a novel scheme for solving the equations, which however does not work for α>π/2.
