The Development of Eddy Current Sensor for Oil Casing

In this paper eddy current sensor which used for detecting of flaws on production lining and Technical lining is studied. And the main debugging parameter of lining crane and thread crane is introduced. According to the testing results of different depth artificial flaws on the thread, we set up a mathematical model by means of no-quantity factor. This model is built on corresponding different depth defect which leading to voltage amplitude signal changed. The data shows that the voltage which changed by the same depth of artificial flaws has the similar laws which obey the law of exponent. At the same time, the results getting from the linearity analysis which simulated by MATLAB tell us the eddy current sensor using on the different material will get similar laws. This will provide theory and practice basis for us on using the eddy detector testing petroleum casing pipe.
