Virtual instrument is introduced into shielding effectiveness test of materials and a solution of materials' shielding effectiveness automatic test based on Agilent' USB/GPIB hardware, National Instruments' LabWindows/CVI software is provided. Utilize virtual instrument technology to carry on systematic development according to the requests of GB12190-90 and IEEE Std 299 - 1997, The system has modularity of hardware and software, so the development period of system is short, running efficiency is high, expansibility and reusable are very strong at the same time. All these contribute to reduce overlapping investment, so the shielding effectiveness ATS has very strong using value.
