The line of sight is steady of independence for steady image fire control system. It is the benchmark of working system. The reflector or reflect prism, in the sight glass, are stabilized by the gyroscope. At the state of aiming, the artillerist drives the line of sight of sight glass with manually equipment to run after and take aim the targets. The artillery follows the line of sight. In firing, the fire computer calculates shooting units, and transfers it to the artillery and the gearing of barbette. By this way, the artillery can transfer to the position of advanced angle automatically and accurately. But the line of sight keeps in running after the targets, coming true running after and taking aim the target automatically. But the stability precision of the line of sight of artillery affects the rate of the hit the target of fist shooting. The stability precision must be measured. So many countries apply themselves to develop a kind of applied measuring system. With this system, they can satisfy the need of scientific research and the capability judge. We have done many technique method discussing and accumulate a great deal valued experience. This paper has designed the stability precision testing system of the line of sigh in artillery. The testing system can satisfy this request. This system is fixed the back of gunner mirror ocular. It can measure the stability precision of the line of sight whatever it is 'up reflecting' and 'down reflecting' artillery system. The measuring precision can reach mil 05 . 0 ≤ σ . It satisfied the need of designing. This measuring precision reached the lead level in the country.
