摘要

Electronic controlled hydraulic power steering (ECHPS) system can improve driver's 'road feeling' because it has alterable steering-wheel effort characteristic which is adapted to vehicle speed. Based on the structure and principle of the proposed speed-sensitive ECHPS system, the simulation model was built by means of engineering system simulation and analysis software MSC.EASY5, which provides some important results for further discussion and design. A test bench was built to demonstrate that the ECHPS system can fulfill the demand of the steering system of trucks and buses
