The dynamic response model and state space model of active vibration control for beam under a moving mass was established. And the fuzzy adaptive PID control strategy was introduced to suppress the beam vibration. The testing system of dynamic response and active vibration control for beam under a moving mass was designed and developed. The experimental results showed the effectiveness of this kind of control strategy for beam bonded with piezoelectric self-sensing actuators under a moving mass, which demonstrated that using the smart material could suppress the time-varying system flexible structure vibration active control.
