FiT and the Development of Offshore Wind Energy in Taiwan

摘要

This paper examines the relationship of Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) policy andthe development of offshore wind energy in future Taiwan. Afterintegrating the key parameters of LCOE of offshore wind project andFiT set up by committee, an analytical financial feasibility model wasdeveloped. By which the financial feasibility of an offshore windproject at micro level can be examined. In order to uncover thefeasibility of each project and its relationship to Taiwan FiT baseline,the illustrative examples then were showed.
