The design of control systems in industrial processes is difficult in the strictly analytical fashion, and tuning of the controllers relys upon human operators, because the dynamics of the controlled objects cannot be given accurately. In this paper, we propose a method to design an intelligent control system to apply to process systems, using the cerebeller model articulation controller(CMAC) which is modeled after the human cerebeller. Here, we discuss the construction of CMAC of which input space does not have the command signal as an element so as to reduce the required memory capacity, and has some disturbance signals as elements so as to improve the control performance.
