Mixed-Model Assembly Line Scheduling in Consideration of Assembly Time

Time - Based Goal Chasing Method (TBGC) has been proposed to keep the consumption rate of each part constant with consideration of the different assemble time. The good point of TBGC is to consider the idle time of contained in the total assembly time. However, TBGC was only applied to a single work station problem. In this paper, TBGC is applied to an assembly line with some work stations.
