摘要

This paper presents test resulting for new type wind turbine designed for use in a hybrid power-generation system. The main characteristics of the turbine are its straight-motion blade mechanism and the straight blade shape which allows the attachment of solar panels. This design should enable higher energy conversion through the blade motion with a complementary supply of energy provided by attached solar panels. In this experiment, we tested the basic wind turbine performance without the solar panels. Our measurements under several load conditions showed that the system worked, although the turbine was not as effective as a conventional propeller-type turbine in terms of the starting characteristic and power coefficient.
