Impact of Electricity Market Regulation on the Development of Distributed Power Generation

摘要

The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of regulations for distribution network companies, such as cost-of-service regulation, performance-based regulation and yardstick regulations, on the development of distributed power generation. As a result it can be concluded that non of the usually used regulation approaches for distribution network companies provides appropriate incentives for the connection of distributed power generation.
