Development of approaches and mobile business solutions for field service

Nowadays, Mobile Internet Solutions play a crucial enabling role for the design and implementation of innovative user centric and location based Business Models. In the future this issue will be even more important. This implies high chances, but also remarkable risks for enterprises that choose to pursue a new Mobile Business Model or to adapt an existing one. Hence the clear need for action in the field of methodical Business Modelling is obvious. We present a new approach for a customer-oriented Mobile Business Modelling, with a specific attention on information management within mobile networks, as well as on inter-organisational co-operative networks. The approach had been validated for an infrastructure service provider for the German railway system.
