摘要

In historical data management of data updating, using geodatabase archive technique provided by ArcGIS to implement browse and rollback of historical information. Archiving means to store historical information in the class of archive, that is to say that any changed data in default version will be archived into it, we can query historical data by using date attribute, this paper focus on this model, extends the model of archiving at the aspect of semantic, and develops a historical management model based on geographical object, it supports the query and analysis of geographical objects exist in real world. This model follows the idea of object-oriented and consistent with human cognition. In this model, each historical state of the geographical object can be queried and can operate the database in that state.
