Performance degradation of concrete structures is generally caused by deteriorations, such as surface collapse, pop-out, crack, and so on. It may result in serious defects of concrete structures. Thus it is very important to detect and repair defects of concrete structures within a proper time to assure the structural safety. However, defects due to deteriorations are usually difficult to find by visual inspections. A sensor, which is proposed by this study, may give early indications of the degradation of concrete structures and show locations of damages. In this experiment, therefore a typical concrete beam is used in the case of a common building while laying a glass pipe sensor in the come about a shear and bending portion of brittle. Moreover, when the gradually extended cracking which is reached breaking a type of repair system, it responds in air with condition of the extension which is repaired by chemical bonds then the life of structure can be made to extend by it too. The objective of this research is to develop the moderate of price sensor that can perform the self-diagnosis and the ability of repairing concrete by damages.
