摘要

All carbon materials used as auto electronic cathodes are nanostructured materials. Field emission of such materials occurs from micro beams having characteristic sizes from 0.1 to 100 nm. Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) carbon fiber consists of closely intertwined filamentous fibrils, the length of which can reach $pmb{1 mu }mathbf{m}$, diameter 1–5 nm.
