The role of varietal resistance in the reproduction speed of the fungus F. graminearum and the volume of conidial sporulation in epiphytotic conditions of disease was determined. The amount of Fusarium infection lasted four generations in the susceptible varieties and three generations in the resistant varieties for the period between flowering and the milky-dough gage of winter wheat grain. A 3-fold increase in humidity causes a 2-fold increase in sporula-tion the susceptible variety 4000-11 and 6-11-fold increases in the resistant varieties. However, the data indicate that the spores will be formed 5-8 times less on the resistant, than on the susceptible plants.
