摘要

Both the Middle Atlas and Saiss basins have important water resources. Because of their meteoric origin and the nature of the reservoirs in the areas, which is made by calcareous and detrital rocks, these groundwaters are alkaline earth to Ca-HCO_3 waters. They generally have good quality. Although during the last years the region has experienced an important increase in population and a development of agricultural industries. This paper aims to identify the natural and anthropogenic geochemical processes.
