This article introduces the achieved progresses that the production method has been changed from one from one-machine, one-strand process to two-machine, two-strand process for 3 years in Zhujiang Steel. Centering steelmaking on the strengthen smelting, the TTT and power consumptions have been decreased by the measures of the strict management of steel materials, strengthen oxygenation etc. The relation between the defects of part productions and the control of residual element, and the relation between the defects of part productions and the control of gas contents in molten steel have been introduced. Centering casting on the technologic study of high efficiency casting, the higher casting withdrawal velocity, the higher casting times and the lower bleed-out ratios has been gotten. The production output of sub-peritectic steel -container plate has been more than ever especially. The batch production of the pipeline steel in less than X65 grade and the high strength structure steel, in which the strength is less than 700 MPa, has been carried through.
