Study of Direct Method for Measurement of Straightness Muzzle Angle of Straight Barrel by Using PSD

摘要

A direct method to measure the straightness and muzzle angle of straight barrel by using the Position Sensitive Device (PSD) as sensor is introduced in this paper, and the deep probe is exercised about the rotation of the electrical coordinate of PSD while being pushed or pulled along straight barrel, thereby, a novel pendulous structure is designed. To the measurement system, the error analysis is also provided, and the way to eliminate the systematic error and the effective algorithm to process data are presented as well. Many experiments prove that this measurement system has high precision, high rate, and convenience to adjust and fix.
