THE INVESTIGATION OF GAS TEMPERATURE VARIATIONS IN THE PIPE, IN CONDITIONS OF PULSATING FLOW

The paper presents the experimental method of unsteady temperature measurements in the pipe, by Constant Current Thermometer. Two different conditions at the pipe outlet were examined: constant pressure and variable pressure, realized by placing at the pipe outlet the big volume tank and the turbine of the turbocharger respectively. Measurements were carried out in the range of pulse frequencies from 20 to 100Hz. Simultaneous measurement of pressure and velocity in control sections of the pipe allows to investigate the relationships between temperature and the these two quantities.
