摘要

To examine the effect of the coupling phenomena in the buffer material for high level radioactive waste disposal, the thermodynamic examination of the water movement is tried. By using the theory assuming the equilibrium steady state, the comparison with the measured water content distribution is carried out. The data of the large-scale laboratory and in-situ coupling tests are used for the examination. The results for both tests show the ability of the coupling among fluxes of heat, air and water.
