The quite different features of the dynamical environment of high-speed trains are discussed in this paper. Its main characteristic is that the aerodynamics dominates the interaction between the train and the surroundings. Three kinds of impacts exert and create herewith to all the special features of high-speed train technology. Energy impacts, vibration impacts and noise impacts are assessed for increasing velocities by results adapted from available reference papers. A common trend discovered that high speeds seriously impacts on surrounding environment, especially, the noise pollution. All available data obtained are below 400 km/h, including those for maglev trains. Therefore, in this paper a conclusion has been drawn that the 400 km/h should be a threshold of maximum speed for high-speed ground transportation. Higher than this limit, the evacuate tube transportation (ETT) have to be considered.
